My Approach

Let’s start by getting to know each other!

How I work:

  • I’m here for making dogs gorgeous again, but your dog may have different ideas. Let’s see if we can come to a meeting of the minds! In most cases it is important to start with a Meet&Treat before the actual groom. This sets your dog and me up for success! It’s no fun if we are afraid of each other.

  • I won’t force your dog to do anything. It’s just not worth it. That’s how dogs get hurt, groomers get hurt, and tools get broken. Your dog’s safety and health is my number one priority. Your dog will be the only dog in the groom shop while I work. I go slowly when I need to, to ensure your dog is calm, comfortable, and cooperative. I want your dog to come back and see me for their next groom, tail wagging!

  • Can the pet parent stay and watch? Yes and no. If you stay I may ask you to help me! This is not a spectator sport, except on social media.

  • Speaking of social media, booking with me means you agree to my media release policy. If your dog is in the witness protection program I may be able to make an exception for them.

  • Do I express glands/pluck ears? In general, no. But maybe if you ask me nicely 😀. It really depends on the health and needs of the dog. Let’s discuss.

  • Will I clipper cut your double-coated dog? Extremely unlikely. But I will de-bulk and de-shed and make them look neat and pretty, while I try to bring that coat back to what it should be!

  • Thank you for the opportunity! Looking forward to meeting you and your dog.
